We had a wonderful lunch experience at The Camp. It's located in the under the hill area and boasts views of the Mississippi River. Some outdoor spaces are available for seating but it was chilly so we ate inside. Service was excellent. From the host to our waitress, everyone welcomed us and made us feel at home. The space is large but somewhat crowded. I am sure they stay busy because of the nearby cruise ship docking. We were very lucky to get a table after only a short wait. I went with the steak salad. It was just okay. The steak was a little overcooked but the veggies were fresh and I loved the sliced beets. I tried one of the cocktails and it was refreshing. I can't remember what it was called but it had gin and was tasty. Overall, a great dining experience. I would definitely come back but would order something other than the steak. 4.5/5 stars

Great prices and great place for a family dinner. Casual, good beer list, pretty good service. Management could be a little tighter--understaffed on the floor at least initially. Friendly folks totally made up for it.

Always worth the drive when I'm even 30+ minutes away. Everything I have ever got was tasty. You got to got the fried pickles. Great service. Great views of the water.

A friend recommended The Camp for sunset views during dinner and she was dead on. We got a table by the windows and enjoyed watching a gorgeous sunset over the Mississippi River. The food is elevated bar fare done well, and the drinks were perfectly cold on a hot day. The service was friendly and attentive. But the view is what makes the place.

Great restaurant with a quaint atmosphere. Located right on the banks of the Mississippi. Food was good, craft beer selection was OK. Our server was efficient and friendly.

This was our last meal of the trip. So far, we had not been impressed with the food in Natchez. Just being honest here. (Visit Butter Cakery, it's soooo good!) We sadly missed pizza at the Natchez Brewery. We are confident it would have been great and will make it a point to go next time. We started with the pulled pork nachos. They are the perfect size for four people to wet your appetite for a good meal and are delicious! I had the shrimp platter. I normally prefer a flour batter, but the cornmeal batter was really good. I do wish the shrimp were deveined but you can't have it all. We were all impressed with the size of the dish. Plenty of shrimp, fresh hot fries and I subbed tartar sauce for the remoulade. I love their tartar!! Mike had the smoked fried wings in hot Asian sauce. He said they were good. We added a side of Mac and cheese because, well, it's Mac and cheese! Pasta was cooked perfectly. Nice sauce. Recommend the Mac and cheese as a side. The slaw on my platter was good. Not as sweet as I prefer, but a nice creamy slaw. Our aunt and uncle ate light. They each got a slider and fries. Both said they enjoyed them. Dessert: according to our server, about once a year, the bread pudding of the day is the apple pie bread pudding. I'm sad to tell you that if you miss this bread, pudding, you missed out. It is the perfect temperature served with the scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel. I know, apple pie bread pudding sounds odd, but let me tell you it is spectacular. Whoever is making the bread pudding knows how to make bread pudding. Not heavy or stodgy, not too custardy (my word). It is so light and delicious. The restaurant wasn't too noisy, it has a casual but not too casual feel. We will come back when we visit again!

I really love this spot in downtown Natchez!!! I came here with a couple of friends and this place was popping. We had to wait 10 minutes when we came at 6:30pm but it was worth the wait. I got the Buddha belly sandwich and the pork belly was full of flavor and the fried onions were so good and complemented the pork belly. We ordered the fried pickles for appetizers and it was also very good and worth the price! Recommend this place when you visit Natchez or a local!

I highly recommend this place for lunch! We had the Cajun Haystack and the chips & salsa (add a side of guac) for appetizers, and then thoroughly enjoyed the Southern Style Fish Tacos (my friend got the grilled and I got the fried). They were very fresh and delicious, with a little kick from the Camp Sauce. There was a short wait for a table, so we grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited. They have a great seasonal selection of craft beer and summer-y cocktails. 5 stars!!
